School Visit for 8th grade parent/guardian & students

Our SCHOOL VISITS includes the student visit experience. Please do not schedule a separate Student Visit. The Student Visits are reserved for students attending schools that did not pre-arrange a visit day with us.
These pre-arranged SCHOOL VISITS include parents and students. Parents will accompany their 8th grade student to O'Dowd and receive a personalize experience with the Director of Enrollment and Admissions. They will have an opportunity to take a longer tour, meet some key staff, observe a few classes and enjoy an informal Q&A session with our Admissions staff. We strongly encourage parents/guardians to attend this visit. This is the parent/guardian opportunity to see O'Dowd during a school day. Our other Admissions Morning events are reserved for families that do not have pre-arranged Visit Days scheduled.
Our SCHOOL VISITS allow 8th graders to spend the morning at O'Dowd with their classmates. They will have an opportunity to learn about O'Dowd's unique academic and co-curricular opportunities, spend time with our dragon ambassadors, tour our campus, observe a couple of classes and have an opportunity for Q&A with Admissions staff.

Student Visit (for students at schools without a pre-assigned visit date)

This is for students at schools without a scheduled 8th-grade class visit. Students will have an opportunity to learn about O'Dowd's unique academic and co-curricular opportunities, spend time with our dragon ambassadors, tour our campus, observe a couple of classes and have an opportunity for Q&A with Admissions staff. THIS IS A STUDENT ONLY EVENT. Parents & Guardians interested in seeing O'Dowd should register for one of our Admissions Mornings.

Admissions Morning & Tour for 8th grade & transfer families

This is an opportunity for parents/guardians to visit O'Dowd during school hours. We encourage student to visit O'Dowd during a school or student visit. This event is highly encouraged for parents who are not attending an organized school visit day.
If you attended a visit with your child's school there is no need to attend an Admissions Morning event as this is a duplicate event.

Admissions Nuts & Bolts

These sessions are designed for 8th grade parents interested in learning more about O'Dowd's application and enrollment process. These sessions maybe virtual. Notification will be sent to those who sign up.

Open House

All families of 6th, 7th, 8th or transfer students are welcome.

7th Grade Parent Information Session

We welcome all 7th grade parents to this Information Session designed to give you insight into the Admissions process. Come hear about what O'Dowd has to offer and learn about how to apply.

Transfer Student Visit Day

This visit day is designed for 9th or 10th graders interested in transferring to O'Dowd. Student will have an opportunity to meet current O'Dowd students, visit classes, and learn about our transfer process.

Admissions Morning & Tour (for 8th grade families)

This is an opportunity for parents & students to see O'Dowd during school hours. This event is highly encouraged for parents who are not attending an organized school visit day.

If you attended a tour with your child's school there is no need to attend an Admissions Morning event as this is a duplicate event. We have limited space to tour families in person this year and therefore have restricted each family to one on-campus visit.
